KINGSTONE was pleased to participate in the 2026 Chinese Building Association of NSW Trade Show, held on 7 and 8 August at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens.

Over two busy days, our booth welcomed builders, contractors, designers, homeowners and industry professionals interested in creating more functional and attractive outdoor spaces.

The event gave our team an excellent opportunity to present our products in person, answer practical questions and better understand what customers are looking for in today’s building and renovation market.

Strong Interest in Outdoor Living Solutions

Outdoor living was one of the main topics discussed at the KINGSTONE booth.

Many visitors were planning new homes, renovations, alfresco areas, patios, pool surrounds and backyard upgrades. Rather than looking for a single product, they were increasingly interested in complete outdoor solutions that bring together shelter, flooring, wall finishes and ceiling systems.

Our team introduced visitors to a selection of KINGSTONE products, including:

  • Smart louvred pergolas
  • Carport and pergola systems
  • Aluminium composite decking
  • Aluminium composite wall panels
  • Aluminium ceiling and soffit panels
  • WPC decking and wall panels
  • Timber-look colours and finishes

Having the products and samples available at the booth allowed visitors to examine the finishes, profiles, colours and construction details more closely.

Practical Questions from Visitors

The conversations at the show went beyond product appearance. Visitors asked detailed questions about drainage, weather protection, natural light, motor warranties, maintenance and the suitability of different systems for specific homes.

Louvred pergolas attracted particularly strong interest. Common questions included how rainwater is collected and discharged, what happens if a motor develops a fault, and whether adjustable blades may affect natural light or collect leaves in homes surrounded by trees.

These discussions highlighted an important point: choosing an outdoor structure involves more than comparing its size, colour and price.

The orientation of the home, surrounding trees, existing light levels, drainage locations, installation details and ongoing maintenance requirements can all influence the final result. A system that works well for one property may not necessarily be the most suitable solution for another.

Our team enjoyed discussing these practical considerations with visitors and helping them think through the needs of their individual projects.

Seeing Building Products in Person

Digital images and architectural renders are useful during the early stages of a project, but they do not always show the true colour, texture, scale or construction of a product.

At the trade show, visitors could view timber-look finishes under real lighting, compare different materials and inspect the profiles and connection details more closely. This was especially useful for projects involving several coordinated surfaces, such as decking, wall panels and soffit or ceiling finishes.

Seeing the products together made it easier to consider how different materials and colours could work across an entire outdoor area.

Thank You to Our Visitors and Team

We would like to thank everyone who visited the KINGSTONE booth and took the time to speak with us. We greatly appreciated the level of interest, the thoughtful questions and the opportunity to learn more about your upcoming projects.

We would also like to recognise the hard work of the KINGSTONE team. From preparing the displays and samples to setting up the booth and speaking with visitors throughout the event, the successful result was made possible by the team’s commitment and cooperation.

The trade show may be over, but many new conversations and project opportunities are just beginning.
